Dulux Trade

'Dulux' is an internationally available brand of paint and it is produced by AkzoNobel (formerly Imperial Chemical Industries or ICI). The brand name Dulux has been in existence since 1931 and it was one of the first alkyd- based paints. They are one of the world’s leading brands of premium quality paint and Dulux Trade Paints offer a complete interior and exterior painting solution for all surfaces in your home, starting from the initial stage of surface preparation and ending with the last coat of paint in your favourite colour.

Vinyl Matt: A top quality high opacity emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology which gives excellent coverage and application as well as a durable finish which lasts everyday living. Where condensation is a problem e.g. some kitchens and bathrooms, use Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

Vinyl Silk: A top quality washable emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology, providing a tough, mid-sheen finish. Where condensation is a problem, for example some kitchens and bathrooms, use Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

Vinyl Soft Sheen: A top quality, washable emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology with a fashionable mid-sheen finish. Where condensation is a problem, for example some kitchens and bathrooms, use Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

Durable Flat Matt: A highly durable, water-based flat matt finish. It has excellent coverage and opacity. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces, particularly those subject to high traffic such as corridors and stairwells. It also has an ultra low sheen level, perfect for masking areas of uneven wall surface.

Supermatt: A top quality, economical, high-opacity matt emulsion which gives excellent coverage and application. Suitable for all interior wall and ceiling surfaces, particularly new plaster that is still drying out.

Eggshell: Solvent-based mid-sheen finish formulation that is tough and durable and does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces.

Diamond Matt: A tough, water-based matt emulsion paint that uses Diamond Technology from Dulux Trade, making it 10 times tougher than Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk and Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt. Ideal for high traffic areas such as stairwells and hallways, it is resistant to typical household stains and will repeatedly wipe clean without polishing up.

Undercoat: Solvent-based undercoat recommended for use with Dulux Trade High Gloss. Provides excellent opacity and its high sheen level contributes to exceptional gloss retention. Suitable for use on correctly prepared and primed interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces.

High Gloss: Solvent-based formulation which offers excellent flow, giving surfaces a tough, durable high gloss finish. Suitable for use on interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces.

Satinwood: Solvent-based satin finish formulation that is tough, hardwearing and dirt resistant. Does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces.

Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint: An exterior quality emulsion paint based on all acrylic resin. It contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer. It is particularly suitable for use in changeable weather and is shower resistant within 30 minutes after application.

Weathershield Textured Masonry Paint: An exterior quality fine texture emulsion paint based on an acrylic resin. Contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film. The formulation gives an attractive fine granular finish and allows a higher build.

Weathershield Exterior Flexible Undercoat: Weather-resistant and flexible paint system from Dulux Trade specifically developed to give longer lasting protection for exterior woodwork.

Weathershield Exterior High Gloss: Weather resistant and flexible paint system from Dulux Trade, specifically developed to give long-lasting, high gloss protection for exterior woodwork. Contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer.
